Esterhazy Palace

Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt is one of Austria's most beautiful Baroque palaces and offers an impressive insight into the former splendour of life at the court of the Esterházy princes.

With its authentic ambience and the excellent acoustics of the Haydn Hall, Esterházy Palace remains a centre of cultural life to this day: concerts are held here, celebrations are held and magnificent exhibitions are shown.

The former stables opposite the palace provide an exciting counterpoint. Together they form the Eisenstadt Palace Quarter, where contemporary and historical, music and art, cuisine and wine come together in a unique way.

In addition to the guided tours, you can visit the castle at your own pace from Wednesday to Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm with a castle ticket. On Mondays and Tuesdays, visits are only possible as part of a Highlight-tour.

Keys To Heaven - Pianofestival Schloss Esterházy

Bei der zweiten Ausgabe des Pianofestivals KEYS TO HEAVEN unter der Künstlerischen Leiterin Maria Radutu trifft klassisches Klavierrepertoire auf Pop/Soul, Jazz, Ballett- und Filmmusik. Zu hören gibt es sowohl Wiener Klassik als auch die Moderne, dazu ein Haydn-Battle zwischen damaligen Trios und heutigen Liedadaptionen. Emotion und Authentizität sind die Sprachen, mit denen unter dem Motto „Kompromisslos: Miteinander“ gemeinsam mit dem Publikum drei Tage und Nächte in Eisenstadt die Musik in ihrer ganzen Vielfalt gefeiert wird. Das Klavier ist dabei der rote Faden, das Leitmotiv, das den Horizont erweitert, während der Geist ganz zu sich finden darf – an einem Wochenende als Gemeinschaftserlebnis.
