Contemporary installations, classical performances in the historic palace and works by world-famous artists span the arc that leads from the eventful past to the forward-looking present at the locations of the Esterházy legacy.
For more than 400 years, the name Esterházy has stood for innovation, a passion for collecting and the promotion of art. The prince's court became the center of international attention with luxurious parties, concerts and works by famous artists. Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, Forchtenstein Castle, Lackenbach Palace and the St. Margarethen quarry are still impressive proof of this today.
