By bike
Cyclists are welcome! There are plenty of bike racks in front of Forchtenstein Castle, as well as ample parking space for bicycles. There is also an e-bike charging station in front of the Grenadier restaurant.
Travelling by car
From Vienna:
Take the A2 toward Graz—at the Guntramsdorf interchange, keep right; after the rest stop, turn right onto the A3—at the Eisenstadt interchange, use the right lane to take the S31 toward Györ/Mattersburg—take the Forchtenstein exit toward Forchtenstein/Mattersburg—in Forchtenstein, continue straight ahead and follow the signs to Forchtenstein Castle
From Graz:
Take the A2 toward Vienna—at the Wiener Neustadt interchange, keep right and follow the signs for the S4 toward Hungary/Eisenstadt/Mattersburg—after about 4 km, take the exit on the right onto the S4 toward Hungary/Eisenstadt/Mattersburg—at the Bad Sauerbrunn exit, head toward Bad Sauerbrunn—drive through Bad Sauerbrunn and Wiesen toward Forchtenstein - In Forchtenstein, follow the signs to Forchtenstein Castle

There are 30–60 free parking spaces for visitors directly in front of Forchtenstein Castle (depending on the number of buses).
Buspark
A maximum of 8 parking spaces for buses are available free of charge for visitor groups at the parking lot across from Forchtenstein Castle.
Travelling by public bus
Regionalbus 7993 from Eisenstadt
Travveling by train
Take the train from Vienna to Wiesen-Sigleß Station, then continue on Regional Bus 7993.
