Luther cellar
The baroque vaults on the ground floor, where the best wines from the princely winery were once stored, offer a unique setting for your wedding dinner. Two rooms are now available for you in the formerly renovated cellars. In between there is a modern kitchen that can be used by the caterer of your choice.
The approximately 200 m² large Lutherkeller can accommodate up to 110 people. In addition, the room has a permanently installed stage (dimensions 560 cm long, 80 cm high) - ideal for your wedding band. Both rooms can be heated and used all year round.
The so-called Luther wine, a special sweet wine made in 1526, product of a winemaker and Luther supporter from Donnerskirchen, which was stored in this vault, gave this cellar its name.
