joseph Haydn brass
joseph Haydn brass features Peter Bauer (trumpet), Johann Stangl (trumpet), Florian Janezic (horn), Robert Pöpperl-Berenda (trombone) and Günther Kleidosty (tuba). The quintet regards the interpretation of the works of its name- giver and the great composers of “Wiener Klassik” – such as Mozart and Beethoven – as their main artistic challenge.
Since its foundation in the year 2000 joseph Haydn brass is an integral and vital part of the musical life of Burgenland´s state capital, which is proved by their participation in numerous concerts: the summer matinees at Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, which are moderated in an entertaining way, as well as their participation in the Haydn Festival and various other festivals. joseph Haydn brass is also active beyond the country´s borders. Extensive concert tours have already taken this ensemble to Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the USA.
